Which electric motor should I choose for my van, motorhome or horse float?

al-ko power engine

An electric motor model called the Al-ko comes with a handle and clamp. It is an efficient caravan mover and comes with the original double pawl ratcheting system. This model can be mounted on either side of the drawbar, allowing for maximum maneuverability. It is installed in the normal support of the jockey wheel and can be rolled up to a height of 840 mm. It comes with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty.

Ezi-shifta trojan ratchet jockey wheel

Another model sold by Trojan claims that the operation of the Ezi-Shifta Ratchet Jockey is easy and can handle moving 2 tons on a flat surface with minimal effort. It has 3 functions: forward, backward and stop/lock. It is equipped with a 10-inch solid rubber wheel and has a load capacity of 280 kg.

Arcas-Ezimover

Another type of energy engine is the one made by Ark and called Ezimover. Allows you to maneuver a camper or trailer with the lever action of the jockey wheel arm. If the blue buttons are facing out, then it is set to go back or forward. The action of the lever allows the wheel to rotate only in that direction and to lock in the opposite direction. Rotating the axle allows the RV to roll sideways. Placing the blue button in the stop position will prevent it from spinning freely in either direction.
