5 things to do during your summer vacation in Kaikoura

Traveling to Kaikoura, New Zealand for a summer holiday park holiday allows you to enjoy what has long been a part of “kiwi” life when it comes to holidays.

Situated on the South Island, Kaikoura is easily accessible by car, train, bus and from some New Zealand locations by air. On the sled, you get into a mountain kart and go on an adrenaline-filled descent. For those who want something a little quieter, Farm Park offers a wide range of wildlife that you can feed, cuddle and talk to.

Kaikoura Helicopters World of Whales – Climb aboard the helicopter for a bird’s-eye view of sperm whales off the coast of Kaikoura or soar over the Seaward Kaikouras mountain range.

Kaikoura Wilderness Hikes – Take a luxurious guided walking tour of the privately owned Puhi Peaks Nature Reserve, which offers a wide range of rare and endangered native species of New Zealand flora and fauna.
