Best bike racks for sedans

Why would this hitch rack be more recommended than the trunk rack?

Well, first of all, the fact that the bikes are mounted on a free bar in the car means that you will have access to the trunk without having to remove the bikes. Second, the bikes are much more secure because you can lock them to a bike rack and lock the rack to the hitch receiver. Lastly, bikes tend to be more stable and ride well on these types of racks.
