  • The software is pre-installed on the modem and is installed on the computer when the modem is connected.

There are also certain disadvantages which are listed below.

  • The speed is sometimes slower than other broadband connections.
  • There are not many providers to choose from.
  • It is more expensive than standard broadband connections.
  • It cannot support heavy loads and the download limit also turns out to be a negative aspect.
