Why are humans trying to fight climate change in the first place?

Regarding Global Warming (Definition means; humanity’s CO2 production is causing catastrophic warming of our planet) and the renamed Climate Change (a silly name for an obvious feature of our Earth’s atmosphere, i.e. climate change is the only constant) we need to be serious about how much increased human CO2 is actually causing our continuing 10,000-year warming trend. The reality is; little bit. And even if we stop burning fossil fuels, it still won’t represent a big change overall.

However, does our leadership want to “TRY” in case hell doesn’t freeze over? WTH, this is not based on science. CO2 is a mere trace gas and humans only emit 3% of its total here on Earth, it’s just not a viable “little chicken story” but they’re going to give it a try aren’t they?

There was an interesting article in Bloomberg recently titled; “Clean Power Plan Suspended by US Supreme Court,” by Greg Stohr (February 10, 2016). The article said:

“The US Supreme Court blocked a new federal regulation that would cut emissions from power plants, putting Obama’s most ambitious effort to combat climate change on hold. Justices heeded calls from utility companies Governments, coal miners and more than two dozen states to stop Environment The US Protection Agency rules as court challenges proceed Opponents say the agency is overstepping its authority and meddling in states’ rights. The delay lasts at least until a federal appeals court in Washington rules on the plan, likely later this year after it hears arguments in June. If utilities and states lose in that court, the delay would continue as they seek Supreme Court review EPA will not be able to enforce the 6 day deadline e September for states to submit their emission reduction plans or request a two-month review. one-year extension”.

Please note the comment above; “Obama’s most ambitious effort to combat climate change”, because if you think about it, it’s pretty arrogant for many with a bit of ‘Audacity’ to assume they can fight continental drift, Earth’s orbit, or climate change. Our climate has been changing for 4.5 billion years, that’s what it does. “Change is the only constant,” as a famous scientist once noted (Einstein, in case you missed it).

The reality is that we cannot prevent our climate from changing, nor should we want to, nor should we try to. We certainly shouldn’t destroy our energy sector or our economy in such a frivolous pursuit, so please think about that and then vote accordingly.
